Project Kribi Keeps Rolling!
August 15, 2014

Yes, it keeps rolling and getting new supporters! We are proud to announce and welcome to our cause Ms. Pavlína Gandalovičová, who has been active in the field of social services for most of her life and is therefore very well acquainted to difficult and protracted situations. To that type of situations that may discourage one to believe in or try out anything new, or that may simply make you want to give up...
Ms. Gandalovičová was for many years Director of the prestigious Center for Seniors with Alzheimer's in Usti nad Labem (in the Czech Rephblic) and now, as spouse to the Czech ambassador to the United States, H.E. Amb. Petr Gandalovic, she is still active as a social services specialist, while continuing her philanthropic work. Therefore, her understanding of the "helping people" field is not only objective, but also persistent and down to earth, as she herself took up on tackling an issue deemed as "unsolvable" by most people: Alzheimer's.
Over the years, in her own words, "she has developed a certain sense of what works and what just doesn't" when it comes to NGOs and their approaches. After everything she has experienced throughout her social service career she has now come to have "a clear idea of what can or cannot translate into effective and durable help". And then she heard about Together and Project Kribi, as a new and innovative concept. Its uncompromising cost-effective and solution-oriented approach made an instant impression on her. "What is different about Together is that it's going down to the very roots of protracted issues, and not about spending money and time on cutting ever growing branches (...)".
With no further ado, we welcome Pavlína in our fast growing "family" and we thank her for joining us in our strenuous task of helping people help themselves.
